Connie Gropler
Self-care has always been part of my story. I was born in Peru into a family of healers who cared for others through herbs, handmade soaps, and natural remedies. That lineage guided me into nursing and public health, where I came to understand that true wellness embraces body, mind, and spirit.
For years, I devoted myself to caring for others—as a nurse, a daughter, a woman shaped by generations of healers. Nursing taught me compassion, but it also taught me exhaustion. During the pandemic, I returned to small rituals—washing my hands slowly, breathing deeply, letting scent remind me I was still here. Those quiet moments became the beginning of The Blue Quail—a space where self-care and creation meet.
Every product I craft blends science and soul—a reminder that care can be simple, honest, and deeply human. Through The Blue Quail, I continue to learn: to care, to create, and to come home to myself.

I want our products to feel like small invitations to remember what’s real — the warmth of the hands that made them, the rhythm of nature behind every ingredient, and the quiet truth that they are already enough.
More than just care for the body, I hope it feels like care for the soul.
What’s your favorite ritual or product and how do you use it in your daily routine?
My favorite is our handwashing ritual soap. Every morning, I take a minute to set intentions for the day while washing my hands. It’s a simple habit that helps me stay centered and calm. It’s amazing how something so small can shift your entire day.
